Olievenhoutbosch Christian School

Olievenhoutbosch is a township roughly 30 minutes from Pretoria along the R55 highway. People here face many difficulties; over-population, high unemployment rate, limited opportunity for education, crime, and much more.

We partner with a local church, Church Without Walls. It is through their relationship and relational investment that we work with the Olievenhoutbosch Christian School and the Trust Hope and Faith aftercare program. These ministries work hand in hand to promote and foster a brighter future for the children they serve. The Christian school opened its doors in 2004 by the founders Themba and Ria Maluleke. Their work began in tents, but soon they were able to grow and develop their vision. Today they school 150 children.

They have a holistic approach to ministering to the children. Not only do they provide a Christ centered education, but they also make sure the children have a nutritious meal. Additionally, the aftercare program, Trust, Hope, and Faith, works with the children to nuture them to develop into young leaders by setting an example of what love is.

The school has incredible teachers that are dedicated to educating the students to their highest potential. Their love and dedication is contageous. Teams that have serve alongside them in the past quickly learn that teaching is not only the profession of the educators, but it is also their passion.
